During retreat we played Pink Elephants – basically a quick and easy game of charades.  We last played on fall retreat 2004 and we’ve been laughing about Fran’s vampire bat ever since.  Check out her newest moves along with a mighty impressive moonwalk by Lisa!

Retreat! Fall, 2009

Oh Boy!  It seems like just yesterday that we were skipping down the beach at Goose Rocks – but that was a whole year ago!  Luckily, we received a return invitation from our wonderful and gracious hosts.  And so we hit the beach, the Dom and the Indian food once again:-)

A Warning to Southern Maine…

WON - looking a little shady...

It’s time! Next weekend we’ll be packing up our bedding, food, cosmos, flannel pajamas (except for Robin, who prefers Sponge Bob silkies!) and walking shoes and heading off to Goose Rocks Beach for the weekend.

Yes! It’s the Women of Note biannual retreat!

So, what do we do on retreat? Well, we always have lots of food…

There is usually an opportunity for ridiculous and sometimes questionable group games..

Nancy’s bridal shower retreat – Who is the better dressed bride?

Fran’s birthday retreat – she would NOT take off that coconut bra…

We have the occasional spa day…

And we are always on the lookout for a good place to sing…like this perfect opportunity in the Poland Springs ladies room…

We often shop. We feel especially lucky if we find identical outfits in all of our sizes:-)

And we ALWAYS look for unsuspecting people to share our music with…whether they want it or not!
